The UAB Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has received full accreditation from the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE). This accreditation certifies that the centre fully complies with European quality standards in veterinary education and represents international recognition of the work done by the entire faculty community.

EAEVE full accreditation

The renewal of this accreditation not only reinforces the faculty's prestige and international projection, but also guarantees European recognition of the training received by those attending the centre. The UAB Faculty of Veterinary Medicine received its first positive evaluation from the EAEVE in 2000 and has been renewing this accrediation ever since.

The faculty is hosting the 39th General Assembly of the EAEVE on 28 and 29 May. The meeting brings together academics, professionals, and institutions linked to European veterinary training with the aim of debating and exchanging knowledge on the main challenges in education in this academic field. This year's edition also serves to address the processes of teaching innovation, academic quality, international accreditation, and transformation of the veterinary professional practice.
