Summer Opening Hours at UAB Libraries

From July 1, summer opening hours begin at the UAB Libraries::

July:

• Science and Technology, Social Sciences, Communication and General Newspaper Archives, Humanities, Medicine-Bellaterra, Sabadell University and Veterinary Libraries: open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Medicine-Vall d’Hebron Library: open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Josep Laporte Library (temporarily relocated to classrooms 10-14: Casa Convalescència): open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. More information (in Catalan)
• Map Library and European Documentation Center: open Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

August:

• UAB Libraries will remain closed from August 1 to 23 (both included).
• August 24 to 28: Social Sciences and Humanities Libraries, open from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Monday, August 31: Science and Technology, Social Sciences, Communication and General Newspaper Archives and Humanities Libraries: open from 8.30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

From 1 September, all libraries will return to their usual opening hours.

UAB STUDY ROOM

The UAB Study Room (at the Social Sciences Library) will also change its opening hours:

July: open every day 24 hours.

August: open every day from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

We remind you that you must present your UAB card to access the UAB Study Room.

 

SUMMER LOAN

Any items you borrow will have a due date of 15 September. More information

 

CONSORTIAL LOAN SERVICE (PUC)

July 20 will be the last day to submit Consortium Loan (PUC) requests due to the closure of some libraries during August. The service will resume on September 1.

 

CANON REPROGRAPHY SERVICE

The Canon reprography service at Plaça Cívica has informed us of its summer opening hours:

July: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

August: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. NOTE: Closed for holidays from August 10 to 21

 

CAFETERIA

During August, the Social Sciences Cafeteria will be open from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
