The UAB launches a study on attention to diversity and inclusion within university teaching
The Office of the Vice-Rector for Training and Teaching Innovation of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), with the coordination of the Institute of Education Studies (ICE), is conducting the second study for the Teaching Reports Series, focused on attention to diversity and inclusion in university teaching.
The study, led by lecturers Mar Badia and Beatriz Molinuevo, aims to collect the perception and experience of both students and faculty members on inclusive practices at the university. This will then go towards generating knowledge that contributes to improving teaching quality and building more equitable learning environments.
As this is a study promoted by the UAB itself, the importance of achieving a high degree of participation is essential to obtain solid and significant results. The data will be presented in an aggregated manner, guaranteeing the confidentiality of all participants, and only the level of participation by centre may be analysed internally.
The methodological quality of the study is guaranteed by the fact that only people with an institutional UAB email address can participate and only once.
The UAB encourages the entire university community—students, teaching and research staff—to participate and thus contribute to identifying challenges and opportunities in terms of inclusion, a key area for the quality and social responsibility of the university.
